Vamos Cuba believes that holidays can be so much more than simply lying on the beach or sightseeing. We have made local connections and arrangements so that you can experience a unique Cuban holiday.
Vamos Cuba offers travellers to Havana an authentic taste of local life, with accommodation provided at personally inspected family homes (Casas Particulares).
You will also have your very own Vamos Cuba host. One of our ‘host’ will meet you at the airport, make sure that you know where your classes and your activities are and make you feel at home in Havana.
Vamos Cuba is run by Veronika Tirpakova. Originally from the Czech Republic. Veronika has always had a passion for Latino culture and has travelled extensively throughout Central America.
From 2005, she worked in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, for a large multi national company. During this time she learned Spanish and participated in a number of Latin culture festivals.
In 2010 Veronika met the world-renowned Danza Contemporanea de Cuba when the company performed at the Theatre Royal in Newcastle. After striking up close friendships with the dancers, she visited them several times in Havana. It was here, in the musical heart of the country, that the idea for Vamos Cuba was born. Veronika decided that everyone should have the chance to visit and experience the real Cuba, their amazing culture, meet and even live with its wonderful, vibrant people.
In 2011 Veronika left the corporate world and set up Vamos Cuba. She now divides her time between Havana and Europe. Vamos Cuba gives travellers the opportunity to immerse themselves in this vibrant culture, get a taste of the real Cuba and be inspired by the Cuban way of life.
Exotic, Exhilarating, fascinating and educational and it should be explored and experienced!

Clare Hampson, April 2014, UK
"I’ve just returned from 2 weeks Salsa holiday in Havana – a solo trip partly organised by Vamos Cuba. Veronika was quick to understand that I’m a solo traveller but well travelled so I didn’t need too much hand holding but just pointing in the right direction. She sorted me out with great accommodation in a non-touristy part of town, showed me how to get around in the the local taxis and set me up with salsa lessons with one of the best dancers in town. She also organised great nights out. She’s flexible and understanding.. not pushy and loves the place. Altogether a great combination." Read More

“Veronika, you have done a brilliant job bringing together a team of excellent professionals – Odalys and Yoerlis, who are both highly qualified, competent and lovely in their personalities – teaching Spanish and Salsa – as well as finding great accommodation for us. I absolutely loved the view from Casa Mable’s balcony over Centro Habana towards the Malecon. ” Read More
