The Cuban dry season runs from November to April, so visiting Cuba in April means that you’ll be visiting during the tail end of the dry season. While it might rain more often than if you are visiting Cuba in January or February, the weather will be warm and sunny the majority of the time. Visiting Cuba in April also means there is an incredibly low chance of being caught in extreme weather conditions such as hurricanes.

Cuba is a tropical country with that lies between the Equator and the Tropic of Cancer. This means the average Cuba weather in April is hot and sunny. The mountainous regions will always be cooler and experience more rain, so if you are planning to hike, make sure you bring the right clothing.
Havana is typically around 26°C to 30°C in the day, but it can be as low as 19°C. Heading East to Holguin, the temperature in April could be as high as 30°C and as low as 19°C. On the South coast of the island, Santiago de Cuba is one of the warmest and driest regions. In April, the temperature will likely be around 21°C to 28°C.
