Ballet classes

Ballet Holidays in Cuba

Ballet and Dance training in general is strongly promoted in Cuba. Dance means more than art on the Caribbean island, it means life. The dancers thus unite in their movements a unique Cuban expression with the highest dancing virtuosity. Vamos Cuba works with teachers and dancers who were trained at one of the world’s most prestigious dance institutions in Cuba, the Escuela Nacional de Arte (ENA) , with its renowned faculty of modern dance, and at the famous Escuela Nacional de Ballet for classical dance.

Vamos Cuba team is there to make your holiday as comfortable as possible and give you the insight of real Cuba. We will take care of the practical organisation of your trip (offering the best advice on where to go in your free time, and the best places to eat, drink, and relax.) You will have your direct ¡Vamos*Cuba! contact throughout your stay.

We put together a sample itinerary to give you an idea of what you can expect from our ballet holiday in Cuba – but this is just a taste of what we have to offer. All afternoon plans and day excursions are entirely optional and flexible.

Clare Hampson, April 2014, UK

"I’ve just returned from 2 weeks Salsa holiday in Havana – a solo trip partly organised by Vamos Cuba. Veronika was quick to understand that I’m a solo traveller but well travelled so I didn’t need too much hand holding but just pointing in the right direction. She sorted me out with great accommodation in a non-touristy part of town, showed me how to get around in the the local taxis and set me up with salsa lessons with one of the best dancers in town. She also organised great nights out. She’s flexible and understanding.. not pushy and loves the place. Altogether a great combination." Read More

Karl from Australia from his Salsa Holiday in Cuba:

"I had a fantastic time in Cuba. I spent approximately 3 weeks in this beautiful country learning about its people, history culture, music, dance and the daily rhythm of Cuban local life. Many thanks to Veronika for organizing my trip on the drop of the hat. I had a great local guide who made my…"Read More

Daniela from the UK on her Salsa & Spanish Holiday:

“Veronika, you have done a brilliant job bringing together a team of excellent professionals – Odalys and Yoerlis, who are both highly qualified, competent and lovely in their personalities – teaching Spanish and Salsa – as well as finding great accommodation for us. I absolutely loved the view from Casa Mable’s balcony over Centro Habana towards the Malecon. ” Read More
